Ottoman pedestal table, Turkey, 19th century A pedestal table with a decagonal top and resting on ten legs linked in pairs by poly-lobed arches, in wood inlaid with bone, mother-of-pearl, tortoise shell and wood fillets of different species and shades, forming a geometric checkerboard pattern, with a medallion decorated with a tughra or pseudo-tughra adorning the center of the top.
