Statuette of Amitayus in gilded copper alloy, Sino-Tibetan, 18th century Depicted seated in vajrasana on a lotiform base, hands in dhyanamudra originally supporting a kalasa which has now disappeared. A dhoti covers his lower body, while his bare torso is adorned with various pearl necklaces. Other jewels adorn her arms, as does a long scarf that wraps around them to end in delicate folds at the back. Her face is serene, her hair styled in a high bun adorned with a tiara.
