Small Imari porcelain coffee pot, Japan, 18th century In white porcelain enameled in iron red and gold with plum blossoms. It is decorated on the front of the body with a medallion encircled in blue underglaze and gold containing the letter Z (soy). The model with foot, pointed spout and handle is inspired by a European goldsmith's model. A pewter lid with a shell-shaped grip has been added, probably in Holland. H. porcelain: 15.5 cm
