A te otanga warrior's cuirass from a bwai ni buoka armor with helmet and saber-trident. From an old collection of which a fragment of the label survives with a probably erroneous attribution, it is very rare to find these emblematic Kiribati fighting armors with their helmet made from the dried skin of the porcupine fish (Diodon holocantus).
