Hunting trombone with folding stock. Strongly flared, round, thunder-headed barrel chased with a horseman. Lock signed "P. NICOLINO" and flat-bodied hammer, jaw and battery chased with foliate scrolls. Bridgeplate, counterplate and buttplate decorated with hunters, dogs and foliage. Thumb piece formerly changed. Cut-out and engraved iron belt hook. Varnished, marbled walnut stock, folding with iron snap. Length: 94 cm A.B.E. circa 1760.
