Model 1845 infantry officer's saber. Horn handle with filigree. Brass mounting (traces of gilding), openwork hilt with foliage decoration. Curved blade with flat back, hollow sides and gutter, unmarked. Leather scabbard with three brass fittings and two rings. A.B.E. (wear to leather).
