Infantry officer's saber of the Imperial Guard type. Fully copper-filigreed fuse. Brass mounting with foliate decoration. Single-branch hilt with diamond-shaped auricle. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides, one-third engraved with foliage. Leather scabbard (later), with two cut-out brass fittings. A.B.E. First Empire period.
