HERMES PARIS - PAUL DUPRÉ-LAFON (1900-1971) MODEL DESIGNER Important desk set comprising a large blotter, a notepad holder, an ink and pen holder, a pair of ashtrays and a large writing pad. Each piece is sheathed in mahogany-tinted crocodile skin with saddle-stitching on layered leather supports. Nickel-plated metal hinges and pen holder. Ashtrays and inkwell in cut crystal. Used condition, scattered crushes and small cuts, wear and oxidation to nickel-plated parts, chips on ashtrays and crystal inkwell. Each piece marked HERMÈS Paris, with a gold stamp for most, a debossed stamp for the blotting pad and on the metal penholder, indicated 24 Faug St Honoré on the reverse of the blotter.
