This is a "juvenile" work in burnt wood, fire energy in reference to the territory of the Phlegrean Fields, part of a project presented in Alfonso Artiaco's gallery in 1987, inspired by concepts of cultural anthropology. In fact, the staircase is one of those archetypal elements that links worlds in its ascent and descent, and represents human life itself. In addition to the staircase, three other panels with the same concept were presented: the mountain, the seven-branched tree and the spiral.
