Double flintlock pistol. Round tabletop barrels, engraved and decorated in gold with lightning bolts and foliage, marked "Tordu" on the band. Round-bodied locks and swan-neck hammers. Round steel basins. Fine silver fittings, chased in high relief with foliage and military trophies. Long-eared, hallmarked pommel. Walnut stock, partly carved around the breech. Hallmarked "F" under crown, "Paris 1747" and "L". Length: 32 cm A.B.E. (barrel with patina, one key missing). Louis XV period. Bears a brass collector's label "N6".
