Round-bodied locks in two parts; the front, with bassinet and bassinet spring; the rear, carrying the hammers and mechanisms. Single-stage. Brass trigger guard with movable index front to unlock the barrels. Beautiful varnished walnut frame. Partly carved cheek stock. Strong buttplate, counterplate and fittings in cut brass.
