Ottoman officer's saber. Double filigree horn handle (small accident). Brass mounting, Blücher-style guard, cap with ring, half-oreillons adorned with crescent on front. Curved-back blade, hallmarked at the heel, with round back engraved "KIRKOR M. NARLIAN & FRERES CONSTANTINOPLE", one-third engraved with foliage, star and crescent. Nickel-plated sheet metal scabbard with two brass bracelets. With officer's strap in gold trimming and distinctive scarlet. B.E. Early 20th century.
