Single-branch guard with openwork shell, finely decorated with foliage and an anchor under an imperial crown. Sea creature quillon. Stamped "E.L." under the plate. Neptune head cap. Curved blade engraved "Manufre de Klingenthal Coulaux Cie" with double hollow sides and median ridge, hallmarked at the heel.
