RENÉ DROUET (1899-1993) Entrelacs, the model designed around [1938]. Suite of 6 wrought-iron and gilded chairs. The front legs are curved and sinuous, extending into the uprights of the backrests; the rear legs are also curved and sinuous, ending in the front in the form of scrolls. The trapezoid seats and escutcheon backs are upholstered in non-original velvet. Circa 1940. Used condition, gilding worn and missing, non-original upholstery and trimmings.
