Pair of low quanyi horseshoe armchairs, China, 20th century The upper part of the backrest is curved in the shape of a horseshoe. It ends in armrests, the very rounded ends of which close over a pearl. The slightly curved backrest is carved in light relief with two archaic dragons facing each other within a square. The seat is square, the legs low and cylindrical, linked by an offset H-shaped brace. Height: 77 cm; max. seat size: 66 x 54.5 cm
