Deluxe Prussian senior officer's saber model 1889. Watermarked handle surmounted by the figure of Wilhelm II under a crown. Beautiful chased and gilded brass mounting. Short-skirted cap surmounted by a profile portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II in silver. Guard with two branches and half-shell, chased with oak and laurel leaves, adorned with the Prussian eagle. Straight blade with rounded back, counter-edge and double hollow sides. Iron scabbard with one strap and one ring, painted black, with leather strap with silver edging and pompom. A.B.E.
