LA PETITE REVUE
November 14, 1863-September 10, 1867.
Continuation of La Revue anecdotique des lettres et des arts (1855-1862). Paris, Librairie Richelieu, René Pincebourde, Éditeur. 1 vol. in-8 bound. Handwritten notes by Vasseur (2 ff.). Joint: - La Petite revue anecdotique, 1868-1870, bound at end of volume.
Gathered and bound in a single volume everything that appeared by and about Baudelaire in La Petite Revue and La Revue anecdotique. It is impossible here to establish a table of contents of the articles collected between November 28, 1863 and September 10, 1867. We also know that these two magazines contain a number of unpublished articles by Baudelaire. We should also mention the news of Baudelaire's illness in Brussels and, finally, the announcement of Baudelaire's death in the September 10, 1867 issue. La Petite revue and La Revue anecdotique contain biographical documents of all kinds, news from bookshops and theaters, bon mots, satires, epigrams, literary eccentricities from Paris and the provinces, anecdotes, rare and unusual flyers.
