In the margin of a passage concerning pox in horses and cows and human vaccines, in which his words have been distorted, he reacts: "Completely inaccurate. It was Mr. Blot who understood this way"; and, further on, on the human smallpox virus: "did not understand"; as for the peremptory demonstrations: "there were none".
