He recommends the son of one of his friends, Eugène de la Rive, who wants to tour the two Sicilies. Perhaps he will pass through Putignano. He asks that he be made welcome, in memory of his wife, and asks for news: "mi posse dire come vivete e quali sono adesso i vostri divertimenti et i vostri studi, et se vi sentite felice che non comparivate nelle vostre ultime lettere"...
