Drawing of the statue of Prophet Amos in Le Mans Cathedral, with this caption: "Le Prophète Amos (Le Mans). Shaved. In reality looks like Aublet putting himself at the right distance from his canvas to show it off. [Allusion to the painter Albert Aublet (1851-1938)]. On the back, beginning of an autograph letter (minute?) to a "Dear Sir" to whose invitation he was unable to attend, being "in a paroxysm of hay fever" that made him "fear outings, especially during the day and in the countryside".
