Lovely love letter. Suffering from a cold and flu, she had a very bad night, but she "resigns herself until the consummation of Juju, which will not be the consummation of centuries if it pleases God. [...] It will be eight days tomorrow since I've been out, my little man, it seems sweet to you to be rid of me, but I find the incident far too prolonged and I wouldn't mind changing it. Between now and tomorrow, I'm going to try and dry off a bit from all these cold, slimy feelings, so that I can run after you and resume my duties as companion to St Roch. [...] It's the least I can do to enjoy myself when I'm bored, since I'm bored when I'm enjoying myself. The one is naturally the counterpart of the other, if not its corrective. As for you, my little man, I must confess that you've come less than ever. It's a rather tactless gesture, to which I've been very sensitive. Perhaps that's what keeps my head cold alive, in which case my gratitude equals my happiness. Until the matter is more clearly established, I kiss you from head to toe, inclusively and exclusively"...
