It concludes: "To all [...], I wanted to say not to despair of France or of themselves. We may have made mistakes or been deceived, but we have never had any other goal than the salvation of the Fatherland. It is still time to ensure this by serving in the ranks of resistance movements with all the more generosity and ardor that we have in our hearts the legitimate anger born of our disappointed hopes, and the will to make them finally triumph."
