Coffee pot, North India, Gujarat, Kutch, late 19th century Tall jug on concave pedestal, with baluster-shaped body and cylindrical neck terminating in a spoon-shaped spout and connected to the body by an anthropomorphic handle depicting a standing woman reaching out to catch her child, her feet at the edge of the neck. In tin-plated copper with embossed and chased decoration of floral stems on the neck, shoulder and foot, bouquets of flowers framed by birds and arranged under arcatures.
