Kulah-khud helmet, Iran qâjâr, 19th century Domed helmet surmounted by a four-sided point, with two plumail holders at the front framing a nasal with poly-lobed ends, its base underlined by a fine mesh camail. In steel, engraved, cut, studded and damascened in gold and silver, with a decoration of poly-lobed medallions and cartouches with Persian inscriptions, a bird and floral motifs on the nasal and at the top of the helmet.
