Double-page unwân frontispiece illuminated in gold and polychrome with four cartouches with appendages framing the text and a frieze of lambrequins trimmed with floral decoration in the margin. Verses separated by gold discs and illuminated marginal medallions. Last double-page illuminated with a floral margin and bearing the date 1268 H/1851. Modern brown leather binding with flap and stamped decoration of gold-embellished fleurons and medallions. Binding size: 21.8 x 14.3 cm Stains, foxing, restorations, modern binding. The original red morocco binding boards with cut-out decoration of a poly-lobed medallion with flowered appendages trimmed with green paper identical to that covering the back covers, one with a calligraphic fleuron, are enclosed.
