Two "Kubacha" dishes with floral decoration, Safavid Iran, Dagestan, 17th century Small and large hollow dishes on a small circular heel, in siliceous ceramic decorated with colored engobes under a transparent glaze of curved floral stems evoking yellow, red and green foxgloves, the smaller one with a stylized mountain. The large dish has a chipped border, while the smaller one has a scalloped edge. Diameters: 20.9 and 28 cm Hanging holes and missing heel on the large dish, restorations on both.
