Large bowl with calligraphic decoration, Eastern Iran, Nishapur, 10th century Truncated cone-shaped bowl on a small circular foot, in clay ceramic decorated with pastel-green slip on brown slip under a transparent glaze, with inscriptions in floriated kufic Arabic on the inner wall and in the center.
