Marine artillery saber, 1767 style. Bronze mounting. Eagle grip. Single-prong hilt, stamped, straight quillon. Mounted with a curved, flat-backed blade with gutter and hollow sides (old but later). Leather scabbard with two brass fittings (later buffalo drawstring). Composite.
