Paperback, filled cover, in a red cloth folder with flaps and a red half-maroquin case. Very nice edition printed at 130 numbered copies on Arches wove paper, illustrated with 70 compositions by Louis LEGRAND (1863-1951), including 50 woodcut vignettes in the text and 20 original etchings in black and in colors, including one on the cover, 13 off-text under captioned serpente and 6 in the text. Copy enriched with an autograph letter signed by the editor and a suite in black of all the etchings. The name of the recipient of the mailing has been erased. A very nice paperback copy, as issued, very well preserved in spite of the browned first endpapers.
