At the foot, two lines of engraved text (upside down): "Great God, grant that my soul may come to me from any place / where it is. If it tarries [sic] let my soul see my body. Other subject engraved on the reverse (kneeling figure with a sword at his feet, giraffe, rooster and horse). Scratched with a chisel in the upper left corner. Inked and varnished.
