A very fine proof on strong ivory vellum watermarked "van gelder zonen" from the edition of 250 proofs made by Fort for Vollard in 1913. A few spots of rust, including one to the right of the subject and one in the right margin. All margins untrimmed. Provenance: Ambroise Vollard (1866-1939) then H. M. Petiet (1894-1980).
