Jean-Marie Gustave LE CLÉZIO (born 1940). Typescript with autograph additions and corrections, [Conversations with J.M.G. Le Clézio], 1969-1970, with sending L.S., Nice May 7, 1971; 61 pages in-4. A highly corrected and expanded typescript of his conversations with Pierre Lhoste, held in Nice in 1969 and 1970, and published by Mercure de France in October 1974. Le Clézio has made numerous corrections in blue pen, and interlinear or marginal additions, inserting an autograph leaflet on p. 11 about language. The letter of transmittal explains these corrections and suggests a presentation for the edition. A signed pen drawing (Nice June 7, 1969, 13,5 x 16 cm), and a postcard a.s. to P. Lhoste (24.I.1971) are enclosed.
