Léonard FOUJITA (1886-1968). Autogr. postcard signed with drawing, January 31, 1967, to Mme Bourgeois in Bougival; illustrated postcard with text and address on reverse. He is "on the right path to convalescence", and thanks "Belle Gazou" for "beautiful gifts [...] really you are nice like the gum ball". And he draws with colored felt pens a bouquet with a candle. The postcard represents his fresco of the Crucifixion in his chapel in Reims: under one of the characters, he writes: "it's me. L. Foujita".
