Silver ewer. Saint Petersburg, first quarter of the 19th century. Large ewer of Empire style. The body embossed with gadroons on the lower half. The neck and the bottom of the body highlighted with a frieze. Pedestal with steps. The body is engraved with a monogram surmounted by a crest with a crowned merlion. Hallmarks: 84, St. Petersburg, assayer " А-Я " (Alexandr Iliitch Yachinkov) and silversmith " Kolb " (Friedrich Josef Kolb). Height: 31,2 cm; weight: 745 g [Russian art]
