Bamboo control opium pipe, China, 19th century The bamboo shaft is adorned at the ends with silver coupling rings engraved with the character shou (longevity), and blond horn mouthpieces, with a rare nipple suction mouthpiece. The saddle or plate is chased silver with crane decoration in bamboo. The stopper is made of bamboo called "elephant head" with five points circled in silver. The stove is made of Yixing clay with a metal ring. Two small wooden display stands. Length : 61,5 cm ; weight : 170 g Repaired stove.
