Rare document on this strange prophetess, a figure of revolutionary mysticism. This manuscript was carefully copied on the back of the Empire's postal rates. It includes: "Note de Predictions faites en 1790, par Catherine Théot, dite la Mère de Dieu" (7 p.), "Du Règne de Dieu", as well as 5 mystical letters, 1790-1793, one addressed to M. de Montazet, bishop of Lyon, another to the archbishop of Paris (June 25, 1790). Attached is the Rapport et Projet de décret, présentés à la Convention... par Vadier, 27 prairial II (15 juin 1794) contre Catherine Théot; plus a handwritten prayer book written by Cartier, a refractory priest, emigrated to Solothurn in Switzerland, 1786-1793 (in-12 de 84 ff., rel. demi-basane marbrée).
