Original complete model for the book Construis-moi une lettre by the artist Anne Bertier, born in 1956. "Words and images have accompanied and fascinated me from a very young age. I studied modern literature and at the same time took mime classes at the Sylvia Montfort school. Work with the body that draws, sculpts the space. Later in the 90s, I started to write and draw; drawing was a resumption of the gesture on the white space of the page. I met with the publisher Grandir in 1995, and then, in 2004, with Christine Morault of the publisher MeMo. All the works were then born, around letters, numbers, shapes... the common denominator of this work is the game and poetry." Alphabet with 26 works made with extra-fine Chinese red gouache, signed on the reverse side, and the extreme geometric simplification of letters, close to a graphic abstraction.
