Penauille ; - The offprint of " Marginalia inédits de Baudelaire " by Joseph Bollery, published in the Revue des Sciences humaines (1954), with an autograph signed letter to André Vasseur.
Founded by Granier de Cassagnac and the Escudier brothers, music publishers and musicographers, this polemist and bonapartist journal aimed at "sanitizing literature". Its main contributor was Jules Barbey d'Aurevilly, who however got angry with Granier de Cassagnac, reproaching him for too much flexibility. Barbey d'Aurevilly ceased his collaboration with the Réveil in September 1858 and the ardor and critical verve of the Connétable, which wanted to shake "the torpor of the marmots of the Second Empire", gave way to a small moral, social and worldly chronicle.
