Jambiyya dagger and belt, Yemen, 19th century Curved blade with steel center rib, horn handle with studded decoration and two silvered metal medallions imitating coins of the Republic of Venice riveted. Wooden scabbard sheathed in leather and lined on one side with metal plates with beaded, braided and chased geometric decoration. The scabbard is mounted on a nylon belt lined with purple velvet, embroidered with metallic threads and polychrome cotton and decorated with small talismanic boxes and a silver bottle. Length of the dagger : 30,5 cm ; size of the belt : 6,7 x 105 cm Traces of rust on the blade, damaged belt, some traces of oxidation on the sheath.
