Two album pages with portraits of men, Mughal India, 18th century Gouaches and gold on paper, each depicting a full-length man standing on a pink-purple background. The first, facing left with hands clasped, wearing a turban and a white jama; the second, facing right, wearing a turban and an almost translucent white jama over yellow pants, a bottle in his right hand. Green frame and wide brick margin on the first; yellow, blue and orange frames and wide green margin powdered with gold on the second inscribed in nagari in black ink in the lower part. On the back of each, identical compositions, the center showing a trace of tearing of what must have been a calligraphy, an inscription in nagari in the margin.
