Painted wood mirror frame, Morocco, Tangier, early 20th century Carved polychrome wood decoration of a poly-lobed arcature resting on engaged columns, housing the rectangular mirror (missing mirror) and inscribed in a rectangular frame surmounted by three pediments. The whole painted in polychrome with a vegetal decoration of bouquets under the arcature and interlacing palmettes in its spandrels, geometric on the upper lintel framed by two squares inscribed with the formula "Barakat Muhammad" in geometric kufic Arabic, and religious formulas in cursive Arabic in the pediments.
