Sword of officer of marshalsea model 1787. Fusée entirely watermarked with brass. Cut and gilded brass mounting (remains), hilt with one main branch and three secondary branches. Quillon in drop of water. Straight blade type "lath" blunt, flat back, engraved with scrolls, with remains of bluing and gold in third. A.B.E. S.F. Late 18th century.
