[WORLD WAR II - LODZ GHETTO] Set of 6 ration cards, 2 of which were issued by the Judenrat of the Litzmannstadt (Lodz) ghetto. These documents testify to the policy put in place by the Germans. Indeed, the Germans progressively delegated the administration of the ghetto to a Judenrat which managed the economy of the ghetto. The role of this Jewish administration, which served as an interface with the Germans, is extremely controversial.
