Set of six of the eleven parts of this very beautiful collection dedicated to the uniforms of the French and colonial army. The copy includes the parts on the Spahis regiments, the Chasseurs d'Afrique, the Chasseurs regiments, the Cuirassiers regiments, the Dragons regiments and the Hussars regiments. Each one includes a particular title, two chromolithography plates and four to thirty leaves including a historical table framed by the representation of eight uniforms in chromolithography. A fine copy in modern binding, entirely mounted on tabs, complete with the original cloth covers.
