First edition of this masterpiece by Huysmans, which marks the author's break with naturalism. It was seen by contemporaries as a real breviary of decadence. Copy in a choice binding of the period, with a decoration on the back with cold funeral attributes. Scattered foxing. Leaves of pages 3 to 12 partly disbound.
