Set of three textiles, Iran and Turkey, 17th-18th century The first, probably Turkey and Iran, weaving silk and metallic threads in two strips sewn together, of a medallion decoration in almond decorated with a plant composition and surrounded by a leafy mandorla alternating with spandrels with floral decoration. Persian braid alternating carnations, iris and parrots. Printed textile lining. 35 x 70 cm; significant wear, stains; the second, probably Safavid Iran, red silk weave embroidered with polychrome silk threads and metallic threads with repeated decoration of flowers arranged in different directions from one line to another. Blue and purple textile lining. 68 x 104 cm; stains, wear and old restorations, fields and borders constructed from several old yokes sewn together; the third, Iran, early 17th century, polychrome silk weave incorporating metallic threads, with repeated decoration of blossoming floral stems on a yellow background, housed in an embossed diamond grid. Woven floral braid. Printed textile lining. 59 x 58 cm; several old yokes sewn together, some stains, traces of wear.
