Necklace in 18K gold (750 / 1000), pearls and gems, Uzbekistan, probably Bukhara, 19th century
Necklace consisting of a string of thirteen gold plates, twelve in the form of a quatrefoil, the thirteenth in the form of a rosette with double rows of petals, each inlaid with red and green stones. Pearls separate the plates from each other, border them on two sides and close the necklace. From the central rosette hang five pendants made of pearls, a red (tourmaline?) or green (beryl?) stone and granulated gold elements.
H. 26 cm; l. approx. 27 cm; gross weight: 95 g
Clasp probably later, very slight accidents.
