Grueber Fe / 1646". 91 x 122 cm (Misses, lifts and old restorations) Few paintings of this rare artist, who seems to have been influenced by the emphatic still lifes of Jan Davidz de Heem, have come down to us. However, we can mention the Composition aux fruits, homard et instruments de musique, signed and dated 168? sold in Paris, Artcurial, on November 13, 2018 (canvas 170 x 240cm) or the Vanité, of a more modest size, sold in Paris, Hôtel Drouot, on December 10, 2003, (Mes Beaussant Lefevre) (canvas 82,5 x 95,5cm, signed and dated 52). Finally, a Still life with pokal, hard stone mug mounted in vermeil, tazza of fruits and birds, sale Kettererkunst 27 October 2011 (dated 1670). Our still life would thus be the earliest in the production of this artist.
