We thank Mr. Bogdan Karski, a great enthusiast of Nikifor's work, for identifying and authenticating the work. The annotations include two names used by Nikifor: "Nejytormatejko" and "Nikfor" (being illiterate, he transcribed the words phonetically; some of the city and place names are correctly transcribed from posters). The style of the painting allows us to date it to the 40s/50s.
