JEAN DESPRÉS (1889-1980) Rare cooler with half bottle of Champagne in silver plated metal. The truncated cone-shaped body is flanked by two scrolled handles and receives two decorative bracelets with flat links; one on the recessed base, the other around the rim. Signed J. DESPRÉS at the point on the reverse of the base and bears the hallmark of Master Goldsmith on the curb chain of the lower part. Height : 17,5 cm - Length : 22 cm Provenance: M. M., Avallon.
